I’m going to rant for a moment.

Quite simply,

the reason

why all the random shootings in America keep occurring

in my humble opinion–

the latest one happening today at a fast food restaurant called

Wendy’s in Florida killing two people and injuring another five–

is because

quite simply,

fear has swept the nation.

The US Bush administration, namely, has successfully run a fear campaign

since before and definitely after 911

in the media especially on TV and in the movies,

that has reached epic proportions,

that

has touched humans everywhere,

and the message is:

fear rules.

Fear is at the forefront in public places, in airports, schools,

shopping malls, fast food restaurants,

everywhere.

Fear has infiltrated the subconsciousness of all Americans who

are exposed to the media.

Fear is controlling the US psyche

and subconscious mind.

Bizarre acts based on fear happen daily.

Fear is the opposite of love.

Fear breeds more fear

and feeds off itself

resulting in random shootings

and frequently other anti-social behaviors.

Fear dominates and the results are often bizarre random

acts of violence.

Trust is null and void.

Well, now what?

When love flows freely and at the forefront of people’s existence

the opposite occurs:

endless acts of love

and random acts of kindness.

There is a reason we feel good,

when we do something loving.

The love energy flows easily.

Krishnamurti describes putting energy into love this way:

You see, when you are young, you have

abounding energy— energy that makes you

want to skip over the hills, reach for the stars.

Then, society steps in and tells you to hold that

energy within the walls of the prison which it calls respectability.

Through education, through every form

of sanction and control, that energy is gradually

crushed out. But you need more energy, not less,

because without immense energy you will

never find out what is true.
So the problem is not how to curtail energy,

but how to maintain and increase it,

how to make it independent and continuous—

but not at the behest of any belief or society—

so that it is the movement towards truth, God.

Then energy has quite a different significance.

As a pebble thrown into a calm lake

creates an ever-widening circle,

so the action of energy in the direction

of what is true creates the waves of a new culture.

Then, energy is limitless, immeasurable, and that energy is God! ”

Love begets love,

love breeds more love,

love cancels out fear.

If America would spend even 1/4 of the money we are

spending creating a culture of fear,

and put that 1/4 worth of money in creating a culture of love,

we would indeed have

a stellar economic situation and

world peace.

Love is everywhere.

Fear is masking love.

Break down the walls of fear

and we have love, everywhere, love.

Simple?

Maybe.

I know when I let the love flow,

fear is far away

and

gone.

Let love reign, people,

feel love flow.

Feel freedom in love.
